  1. questionIf I am not a member at your Credit Union, can I get my coin exchanged for cash?
Yes, but only if you use our coin machine.

  2. questionWhat are the charges to use your coin machine?
If you are a member with TCCU, the charge is 7% of the total transaction, which means you will receive 93 cents for each dollar of coin. If you are a non-member, the charge is 14% of the total transaction, which means you will receive 86 cents for each dollar of coin.

  3. questionWhy do I have to pay a fee to use the coin machine?
With the high costs of the equipment to make this service available to you, and the monthly coin shipping charges, we try to make every service pay for itself.

  4. questionDoes your coin machine take foreign currency?
No. It will reject foreign currency, and all mutilated or heavily soiled coins.

  5. questionCan I save my coin slips and bring them all in at once?
No. Please bring any coin slips you receive to one of the tellers on that same business day. Otherwise you are risking losing your coin slips, which are not replaceable. We cannot reissue lost coin slips.
